Apple has disclosed all time apps downloaded by iPad and iPhone customer on iTunes. The company documented the top 10 paid and free apps on each of the individual iOS-based devices via a page on the iTunes store.

Taking the top three places on the free apps list for the iPhone were those for Facebook, Pandora and Google Mobile. On the iPad list, the latter two took first and second place respectively, even as Movies by Flickster rounded off the top three. Read more… »

The C3-01 Touch and Type first showed its face at Nokia World a few months ago, and is now officially for sale on the Nokia Online Shop, SIM-free for £159.

LG has released its new smartphone LG Optimus One

The LG Optimus One was announced in brief in this year and was released last month on several carriers worldwide, although not exactly in a huge blaze of publicity.

It’s a fairly low end Android device in a smart but fairly unremarkable grungy design, but reviews have been very positive, LG have shown some in both hardware and their own software add-ons, the pricing is right and the “LG” badge on it certainly does not hurt sales. Read more… »

The pics of HTC “Mecha” or the HTC “Incredible” HD was leaked online, spreading like crazy. Rumors portrait the HTC Mecha / Incredible HD as built on the same principles as the HTC Evo, but with some notable differences. The phone was seen fully functioning, and even rooted. Vodafone’s firmware team is really cooking with gas this week. Not content with bringing out the HTC Legend Android 2.2 upgrade to owners before it hit unlocked handsets Vodafone is also the first UK network to release the update for the Samsung Galaxy S.

Vodafone revealed it had started the rollout on its forum, and owners ready to upgrade should have found out from a text message. You’ll need to use Samsung’s Kies software to download it, rather than it being an over-the-air update. BlackBerry Bold 9780 review

With enhanced RAM and the BlackBerry 6 OS, the BlackBerry Bold 9780 is an improvement on its predecessor, but it’s certainly not going to recapture market share lost to iOS and Android handsets.
