Samsung's vow to make NFC a technology that rife in UK has been stirred up a mark with the declaration of the latest Samsung Wave 578.
The phone is basic objects - the case is very light in fact, and has the Bada 1.1 OS that Samsung is pushing its lower-end smartphones. It’s an economical handset that being a phone you'd be happy spending £35 a month on, with a large touch sensitive buttons a bit hard to turn on effectively.
The large central key is good to strike though, and despite its dinky dimensions, it is please to hold it. Samsung didn't have any information’s about its tech for example; we're not sure whether it will be read and write skilled, a key factor in using the phone as a mobile payment unit.
The lock/power key is a tuff to beat as the dimensions of the phone (107.9 x 54.9 x 12.5 mm) has a lot finger twisting in the hand, and the 100g weight makes even a bit fiddly without being preposterously afraid of tumbling the small element.
This phone has developed its response to calls from the networks to get NFC to masses through a budget handset. We're going to keep an eye on the new Samsung Wave 578 - usually these low end phones seems below the mobile perspective, but we have the feeling that this phone on the side of one or two buses in the future.
